This article was very helpful. The post about cities going on shutdown is one that I have been seeing and hearing about for the past two weeks. It starts from one person and spreads to hundreds and thousands. This has been rough for people because they believe it is true. It has been causing many people to freak out and it just isn't right. In my opinion, people should not even believe anything on social media or from their peers during this time. People should be looking for news through traditional news sources more than ever right now.
We started watching the movie 'Absence of Malice' in one of my classes today and it led me to think, does the truth matter to people anymore?
NBA great Kobe Bryant passed Jan.26, but his legacy will live forever. Growing up, Kobe meant the entire world to me. From staying up late on school nights, practicing all of his moves, to arguing with LeBron fans everyday. You taught many young kids that hard work was important, no matter what you were working for. Your mamba mentality will live through me forever. Thank you, Kobe.
